As promised the Abini’s come through for Alcott one more time! If you missed it you missed one heck of a good show. There were paintings, photographs,  jewelry, graphic novels, poets, singers, comedians, face painters, jugglers, hula hooping, belly dancers and so much more. It was an incredible weekend of entertainment that at one point or another everyone in the family would of had something to do. The artists were many and the spirit of volunteerism ran rivers. We had great people helping on many levels but on Saturday it was refreshing to see all of the adults (parents and AAC staff) working side by side to make sure that the kids enjoyed themselves.

Alcott will be pointing out all of the people that helped, just give us a little time to put it all together.

This was a great weekend for the Alcott and we want to thank everyone who was involved or helped to make it a success.

This was truly an event where the talented artists both literally and figuratively took center stage.

Our unending gratitude goes out to all.

        “The Flying Asbini’s”

The Flying Asbinis Traveling Sideshow Arts-Travaganza is back! This is the second annual explosion of arts, and promises a good time for all. The schedule is bursting at the seams with as much art of every kind possible that we could get our hands on. We have musical acts, belly-dancing, poetry/spoken word, jugglers, hula-

hoopers, tarot readers, face-painting, and stand-up comedy. And that is merely the performance acts. As for the visuals, we have paintings in every medium, pen and ink drawings, graphic novel artists, photography, sculpture, hand-crafted jewelry, and much more.

We guarantee that there will be no dull moments. We will have 18+ entertainment Friday and Saturday from 5pm until 11pm, and we feature a circus-themed festival for kids and adults on Saturday from 2pm until 6pm.

Saturday afternoon will offer arts & crafts, face-painting, hoopers, contests for the kids, and a whole lot more…
