===================================

Believed to be written between 1590 and 1594, "The Taming of the Shrew" renders the controversial and humorous tale of the eponymous unpleasant maiden - Katherine Minola (Kelly Farrar).

Katherine's sister, Bianca Minola (Taylor Whitt), has brilliant looks and a sweet personality - suitors come from all over Italy to try and win her favor, including the outrageous musician Hortensio (Lance Asbury) and the wealthy yet aged Gremio (Nairba Sirrah). By contrast, Katherine seems incapable of attracting a mate, thanks to her loud mouth and surly personality.

Lucentio (Aaron Paul Gotzon), a newcomer to town and heir to the wealthy Vincentio (Frank Robertson), is hopelessly stricken by Bianca's beauty, and determines to marry her. To this end, he switches places with his conniving servant Tranio (Mike Ducey) and infiltrates the Minola household as a tutor, assisted by the bungling Biondello (Luke Matheis).

Not wanting to be stuck with Katherine living at home as an "old maid," their father Baptista Minola (Victor Castillo) hatches a plan: no one is allowed to court Bianca until Katherine is married. Hilarity ensues as Bianca's suitors conspire to marry Katherine off to the cash-strapped daredevil Petruchio (Steve Williams) - for a handsome price. Together, Petruchio and his longsuffering aide Grumio (Darin Stelting) lay forth a strategy to "tame the Shrew" and claim her father's rich reward.

Petruchio is confident of his imminent success, but will even he have the sanity and patience to win the hand and heart of "Katherine the Cursed"?

ADMISSION IS ONLY $5!
