We have have been lucky through the years to come across some well deserving people to honor and Alcott’s East Gallery has been needing a name to celebrate since the galleries were installed back in the early 2000’s.

Mr. Cecil Mashburn is the person we chose to bestow with that honor. Cecil went to school at Alcott grade school back in the late 1940’s and that’s where he say’s he got his start as an Artist. Over the years Cecil haas matured into an incredible Artist, winning many awards over the years and has the honor of having his works of Art hanging in prestigious places around the world.

Mr. Mashburn has also been a mentor and teacher, sharing his knowledge with many inquisitive people throughout his life.

We had a wonderful turnout at the dedication and will share more in the near future.
